I decided to teach Family and Consumer Sciences because I fell in love with it in Middle School and my passion for it has grown since then. FCS provides live long knowledge and life literacy to allow students to become better members of their families, communities, and careers. Without FCS, I wouldn't have grown into the individual that I have become today. I want to teach FCS to allow students to be inspired by the content to become healthier individuals. FCS also provides so many opportunities for growth and development into the well-rounded individuals that students can become in their future. The greatest reason I want to teach Family and Consumer Sciences is to give students a voice and opportunity to make an impact on the world.
Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching.
